my last vodcast

Well, the semester is coming to an end and we recorded our last podcast and vodcast for my digital delivery class. I did my last vodcast on global warming and the Kyotto Protocol, so if you are interested, you can check it out here. I actually like doing the Vodcast, eventhough I dont like being in front of a camera. I enjoyed doing the research on the topic and presenting my ideas and opinions.

In my vodcast I talked about studying abroad and why I think every student should do it at least once in their life. If you are interested in studying abroad or just want to hear what I have to say, here is a link to my podcast.
I actually enjoyed recording the Podcast more than the Vodcast, because I didnt have to worry about looking at the camera, which I am not very good at anyway :) I also think that everyone in the class has made progress. I feel that everyone was a little bit more comfortable in front of the camera and the microphone the second time around and everyone choose very interesting topics.

I think that thanks to this course I am definately more aware of how technology works, where it came from and where it is going. I always knew what the internet is and how to use it, but I didnt really understand the roles of servers, and browsers and IP adresses etc. I think the knowledge I gained from this course will definately be helpful in many situations and will make using technology more enjoyable, now that i actuially know how it works and why it does the things it does...
I actually really enjoyed writting on my blog...it is a nice way to just talk about things that are on your mind and get some feedback from all over the world. Also, for me it is a great way to keep my firends and family back home in Germany updated as to what is going on in my life. I also really like the creative aspect of it and actually being able to personalize my blog and put up add-ons etc. All in all I think this course was informative and enjoyable...
